Let me tell you a little bit about this layout. I got some help from my snickerdoodle on this one. We were having mommy and daughter time and she wanted to help me create a layout. I had been trying to get them to scrapbook for years and it was exciting to see her all in. She had a hand and everything this layout came to be. Down from our string on our button balloons, from the distressed ink we rolled around on the background of the paper, how we positioned our leaves, butterflies, and pearls. I am so proud of here and she was my guest designer on my layout this month. She is also the one in the photo. I think I have a scrapper on my hands!
Welcome to the
Colorful Creation’s I Love Summer Blog Hop. You should have come
from the Rachel's Blog. If you have stumbled
across this by chance and want to play along then you can head back to
the Colorful Creations site to start at the beginning and to
start collecting your challenge words. These words should be bolded on each
DT member’s blog. You visit each

leave it in the comment section of the Colorful Creations Blog Hop post.
I wanted to share my layout with you. This is one of my favorite layouts of my Middle and youngest daughter having fun at the beach by the good ole SEA. My girls love the beach and this time they enjoyed the sand just as much as the water. They had such a great time. My youngest buried herself and in the sand and was enjoying the sun. She looked like a beached Mermaid. This layout definitely screams Summer to me!!!
I am back and wanted to finish sharing the different project I have been working on and my latest project for my etsy shop have been ATC Kits. I love Artist Trading Cards and making them so I decided to Make the Kits and put them in my shop for those that love making art and need a kit to start. I have different themed ones from Faith, Summer, Spring, Boys, Girls, Nerdy and more. I am constantly working on different themes. These you see here are some kits I have put together and they are in my shop now. Check them out. They are super affordable. The kit contains enough to make two ATC's and you get all the goodies you see here. Please check out my shop. The Kits are very chunky where you get a lot of stuff and they are super affordable!!!! I love my kits and I hope you love them as well!

We were also able to fill 6 bags for Teens in the foster care system, and give needed items to the homeless all thought my Shop CraftyChicByHand Creations where friends, family and customers purchased their favorite items from my shop. What a way to end 2016.

I am excited as we are back in action again for the 5th year of Blessing those in the Nursing Home during the Holiday season. We are set to go out December 17th 2016. We would love for you to help. I would recommend looking at all the pictures from the previous years and see what we do. Last years event was our largest. We had over 20 volunteers, and each residence got at least 6 items each as well got to visit the donation table that had clothes, jewelry etc. It was an amazing time and the residence surely felt the love in the air. I am so blessed to be able to do this and to do what Christ has called me to do which is take care of the Elderly, the sick, the widows, the homeless. I find no greater joy! This Operation stated because I love to handmade items and I wanted to share my love for crafting and making handmade items with those that have a need. So if you have ti handmade items, any of the items below on the list you can help. If you don't handmake items but would still love to help you can. Let me know if you have any questions. Please see below information. also you can visit the tabs at the top of this page and click on Operation Handmade Blessings to find out more information and see how you can help. I also have provided an acceptable items list here.
Welcome September! Fall is my Favorite time of the year and I am super excited about pumpkin smell, fall leaves, chilly weather, Fall Festivals, everything about fall makes me HAPPY! So I have just been so excited about what the Design Team has been doing over on Picture This Challenge Blog and the challenges keep getting better. We have our September 1st Challenge That is titled "Boys Rule" IT is about the guys in our lives! Well in my family of 5 My Husband is the only Guy so naturally He will be who I scrap about for this challenge. I like this picture of him. We are in one of our favorite restaurants in this picture and we had just come from a morning wedding. He was all dressed up and I snapped a picture. My Husband whom I love very much is a very important person in my life. We serve God together, we tag team it with the kids together, we both work to support our family together, we are just a good team. Sure we have our ups and downs but I love him and I love our life together. We make a great TEAM! I took me a while to finish this layout mostly because he made me mad a few times while creating this layout LOL but I did finish it and it turned out great I think! I used some of everything and that fancy paper clip page charm tassle is what I created and things I am currently selling in my Etsy Shop. I am actually sponsoring this months challenge on Picture This.
Here are some of my etsy shop items and you could win a set of the below by participating in both of September 1st Challenges. These little gems are handmade by me. They make a great addition to any layout, planner, journal, you name it. You could be in the running for one of these so head on over to Picture This Challenges and see what the Design Team has cooked up for you the start of this fall season!
Happy Monday! I am excited that we have a brand new challenge for you this month on Picture This. This time around we are creating No So Picture Perfect layouts. You know those photo's that are not so good. Well I choose this photo because although I love the two ladies that are in it. My daughter and myself The lighting kinda of messed this one up. It was really sunny out even though it was still a little chilly out. So if I had not had this challenge I would never had scrapped this photo. Also there was too much in the background which I did get to cover a little with the butterfly embellishment. I also used papers from different brands and used some of my favorite things.
I also got to use my handmade page charms that I have been making to put in my etsy shop. The little doohickey to the left with the beads and lace. I attached it to a colored paperclip. Also did some paper layering , used my cricuit and twine. I had fun with this one. Go on over to Picture This where you can see more inspiration to use those not so good photo's and make great layouts with them. They are still memories right? So go on over and be inspired to scrap those "Not So Picture Perfect Photos. See you over there!!!!!
